River Mountain Ranch, in beautiful Trinity County, is located in the Steiner Flat corridor of the Trinity River (one of Northern California's premier steelhead and salmon fishing rivers). Bordered on three sides by BLM Public Lands, the ranch is nestled in a serene setting of pine trees and rolling foothills and has numerous nearby river access points. 

We have lots of things nearby to do and explore on foot, boat, kayak, or horse.  Being centrally located in Trinity County, River Mountain Ranch is a perfect location for access to everything from fishing the Trinity River to hiking the Trinity Alps and visiting the many local mountain lakes nearby.  Boat rentals are available during the summer season at both nearby Trinity and Whiskeytown Lakes.  Additional information on location and cost is located in each cabin. 

Located just 10 miles from the town of Weaverville and only 45 miles from the City of Redding, and with easy access off Highway 299, the ranch is only 3 miles away from the Douglas City General Store where you can get basic food, beverage, fuel, and fishing supplies.  For full-service grocery, hardware, restaurants, and other needs, the town of Weaverville is only 10 miles north on Highway 299.
